Human Resources Specialist Full Time

We are looking for a skilled Human Resources Specialist to join our team in Scarborough, Ontario. In this full-time position, you will support key HR functions, from recruitment and employee development to compensation, payroll, and compliance.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across different areas of HR. You’ll play a hands-on role in maintaining HR systems, supporting employees, and helping improve overall workplace performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment and Staffing

• Support full-cycle recruitment using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
• Assist in sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new hires
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies

Compensation and Benefits

• Help manage employee compensation, health, and disability benefits
• Provide support for payroll processes
• Answer employee questions related to benefits, health, and security plans

Employee Performance and Development

• Coordinate training and development programs
• Support employee performance improvement plans
• Monitor productivity and help teams improve their efficiency

HR Systems and Support

• Maintain employee records in HRIS systems
• Ensure data accuracy and support regular audits
• Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers

Compliance and Labor Relations

• Assist in labor relations, policies, and procedures
• Support legal compliance and document handling
• Help with workplace investigations and resolutions
